Workshop: Transforming Geoscience Preparation for K-8 Pre-Service Teachers

This two-day workshop, on April 8-9, 2016, will explore strategies for strengthening K-8 science teaching, through both science content knowledge and science teaching methods. It will showcase the collaborative, integrated delivery of geoscience content and science methods at St. Norbert College, as well as other successful strategies identified by workshop participants. The workshop is open to science faculty, education faculty, and in-service science teachers. Teams of science and education faculty from the same institution are particularly encouraged to apply.
