Background

Holly has recently joined the SERC team with a wide background in ocean sciences. After finishing graduate school, Holly worked for four seasons at the Cooperative Institute for Great Lakes Research (CIGLR) in Ann Arbor, MI in conjunction with NOAA-Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory (GLERL). She loves to travel and has worked all over the world including in Alaska, Mozambique, and most recently in Antarctica and Patagonia (picture on the right). In her free time, she enjoys cross country skiing, SCUBA diving, and rock climbing.

  • M.S. in Renewable Natural Resources (focus on Oceanography), Louisiana State University (2020)
  • B.S. in Marine Biology, University of Alaska Southeast (2017)
