The exercise is to give students first hand experience in applying the concepts of spectral analysis and filter design. Step-by-step instructions are provided for the students and there are some questions to complete that test the students understanding of the lecture material.
Context for Use
This lab exercise was designed to follow up on a lecture on signal processing for a doctorate of audiology course in electroacoustics. Apart from the lecture material, no other knowledge is assumed. Step-by-step instructions are provided on how to use MATLAB for the exercise.
