Travel By Air
Participants traveling to Columbia by air can use the Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE).
Information on ground transportation is available on the airport website. Uber and Lyft are the primary rideshare services.
The Comet is our public transport system. Line 91 will take you from CAE to within a quarter mile of the conference site and a one-way ride costs $2.
Travel by Car
Rental Vehicles near the University of South Carolina
- Flying in? Rental car counters are easily accessible near the baggage claim area of CAE. Check out the car rental companies here.
- Need to rent near campus? Enterprise Rent-A-Car has multiple locations nearby including one in downtown Columbia.
On-Campus Parking
Hourly parking is available in five garages and in metered spaces on campus. The nearest parking garages are the Horizon Garage (519 Main Street), Bull Street Garage (Gate 3) and the Lincoln Garage.

Travel by Train
Amtrak has a station in Columbia (CLB) served by a limited number of routes. The depot is about three miles from downtown and within walking distance of the University of South Carolina campus.
