Overview

This workshop is focused on setting priorities related to the delivery of CLASP products. Discussion will focus on topics such as the future of the Collaboratory, formal (i.e., virtual panels with grant officers/award recipients) and informal (i.e., Coffee Chats) professional development programming, and exploring dues for participation in CLASP as a means of supporting resource dissemination. Outcomes from these convenings will inform the October 2024 face-to-face meeting.

Objectives

  • Discuss ideas about the future of the Collaboratory
  • Identify formal (i.e., virtual panels with grant officers/award recipients) and informal (i.e., Coffee Chats) professional development programming that spans the grant lifecycle, from pre-award to post-award and compliance, that would be helpful to develop
  • Examine whether dues for participation in CLASP should be used to support resource dissemination

Workshop Format and Schedule (workshop will be virtual)

The virtual convening will include two 1-hour Zoom meetings on Thursdays, July 25 & August 1. The Zoom sessions will be 1-2pm Eastern / 12-1pm Central / 11am-12pm Mountain / 10-11am Pacific, and connection info will be sent out the week of the workshop.

Stipends

The CLASP GRANTED project is able to offer a limited number of $150 stipends. Stipends will be available to the first twelve participants who sign up for each of the workshops. Participants are expected to attend both days of the paired 1-hour workshop meetings and actively participate to receive this stipend.
