Salli Dymond is an Assistant Professor of Ecohydrology in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Minnesota Duluth. She received a BS and MS in Forestry from Virginia Tech and a PhD in Forest Hydrology and Watershed Management from University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She also worked as a research hydrologist with the USDA Forest Service Pacific Southwest Research Station. Her research studies the interaction between vegetation and the hydrologic cycle, particularly following environmental disturbance, and has been funded by the National Science Foundation, USDA, NOAA, and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. Salli is currently serving as Chair-Elect of the American Geophysical Union's Ecohydrology Technical Committee, and she will take over as Chair in 2022. She has been a trainer for ADVANCEGeo since 2020.
