Our team published a new paper in Nature Geoscience led by Asmeret Asefaw Berhe that challenges the passive imagery of the leaky pipeline and highlights a vicious obstacle course of intentional barriers that disproportionately slow down the career advancement of historically excluded groups, with effects on retention in STEMM.
