STEM Project Adviser

DAI, (See www.dai.com), a Maryland based consulting firm that implements projects around the world for donors and private sector clients is looking for STEM advisor for a project in the middle east.

We are looking for a short term consultant to serve as a program coordinator for a STEM activities project to be conducted in the Middle East later this year and in 2020.

The STEM adviser will be based at the STEM Center and will lead on day-to-day management and operations of the Initiative. The Team Leader's ultimate job is to maintain high quality of delivery, ensure that all who interact with the Initiative have a good experience, and manage the team to create effective STEM learning experiences for students. He/she will also participate in customization of the curriculum, help select staff, and contribute to delivery of STEM curricula, especially in the more intensive engagements like the STEM Camps. As an advisor and collaborator to the STEM Instructors, the Team Leader will be responsible for providing support in the designing of STEM units and lessons, providing content knowledge in STEM, analyzing data to modify activities and forms of assessment, and sharing of best practices. He/she will work with teachers to ensure the use of best pedagogical methods based on the latest academic research and an understanding of local market including trends.
