Self-Regulation is More Than Metacognition

Jenefer Husman presented one of the keynote talks at the 2008 workshop The Role of Metacognition in Teaching Geoscience. Her presentation came at the topic of metacognition from the perspective of educational psychology and aimed to give the workshop participants a grounding in the jargon and terminology of the subject so that they would have the tools they needed to conduct their own literature search for resources to help them integrate metacognitive skills into their classes.
