"Home-Made" Geophysical Software

Participants at the 2007 Geophysics workshop identified a need to have a clearinghouse for small pieces of software that research/educators have created for their own classes. This browse provides access to the example applications that have been contributed by their creators. Each example page also has a discussion list where those who use the software can leave feedback for the creator on how it worked and possible ways that it could be improved in future versions.

Seismic Duck 2.0
Seismic Duck is a reflective seismology video game. It models modern oil exploration by seismic imaging. The user takes acoustic shots and sees the resulting seismogram. They use that information to pick where to drill.
