Lodging
Accepted applicants have two lodging options:
- Dormitories at UNM: Participants choosing this option must pay for
their lodging at the time that they pay for workshop registration. All rooms are single rooms at $42/night, including linen. Rooms are suite-style, with four rooms sharing a bath. Total costs are as follows:
- If you are going on the field trip: $252, with check-in on Tuesday, June 4 and check-out on Monday, June 10.
- If you are not going on the field trip: $210, with check-in on Wednesday, June 5 and check-out on Monday, June 10.
- Lodging off campus: If you would prefer not to stay in the dorms at UNM, you may make your own reservations to stay at a hotel in Albuquerque. If you choose this option, you must provide your own transportation to UNM for workshop sessions.
Travel
Participants must provide their own transportation to and from the
workshop, which will be held at University of New Mexico, which is located in
Albuquerque. After
people have filled out the workshop travel form, we
will email you a spreadsheet of airport arrival times so that you can
contact each other about sharing rides from the Airport to the
University.
