About Me
I love the outdoors and can often be found hiking or canoeing with my family in Northeastern Indiana. We also are very involved in farming and gardening. I started out as a geologist and then picked up an Ecology PhD. Perhaps Sustainability as a concentration appeals to me because it is so general!
Focus of current FEW-Nexus-based education work
I am part of a team of colleagues who offers an immersive semester in watershed management and food systems. I have spent the last 7 years focusing on this curriculum. I hope to join this community of practice to both learn and contribute.
FEW-Nexus-based education experience, expertise and interests
I am new to this community and look forward to getting to know folks and what they are working on. For my part I can offer the extensive experience I have had working at a primarily undergraduate institution focusing almost exclusively on undergraduate training in sustainability.
