Monica Bruckner (Montana State University, Bozeman) is a graduate student working toward a Master's degree in Earth Sciences. Dr. Mark Skidmore, who specializes in geomicrobiology in cold regions, serves as the Principal Investigator for the project. Galena Ackerman and Shawn McGlynn (Montana State University, Bozeman) aided in field work, and Scott Montross provided laboratory assistance. Jeff Bond (Yukon Geological Survey, Whitehorse, Yukon) provided additional logistical assistance. Financial, technical, and equipment support were provided by the Yukon Geological Survey, American Alpine Club, Yukon Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, Dr. Julia Foght and associates (University of Alberta, Canada), and Karl Birkeland and the US Forest Service.
