Participants will:

  1. Learn foundational components for partnering to advance environmental and social justice and gain insights from a panel of experts strategies for designing and sustaining equitable partnerships
  2. Identify takeaways for their education, research, or community engagement efforts
  3. Action plan next steps to move partnering forward
  4. Meet other attendees interested in advancing environmental justice

  • 10:35 a.m.-10:50 a.m. - Whole Group Round Robin Sharing (15 minutes) (Melisa Diaz)
  • 10:50 a.m.-11:05 a.m. - Break
  • 11:05 a.m.- 12:10 p.m.  - Panelists  (15 minute presentations for 2 panelist, 10 minutes of Q&A,20 minutes of small group generating takeaways for teaching, research, or community engagement) (1 hour)  (Melisa Diaz)
