Rendezvous Attendee Information for Friday

Tomorrow may be the last day of the Rendezvous, but engaging topics and learning opportunities abound! Before you begin Friday's morning workshop, please take a moment to consult the program for afternoon options, including teaching demos, round table discussions, the Friday poster session, and the Town Hall + Ice Cream Social.

Afternoon Options

Teaching Demos (1:30pm - 3:00 pm), E Building 202 - If you are looking for ways to support student learning and engagement, check out Friday's teaching demos.
Round Table Discussions (1:30pm - 2:45pm), Building CC Creveling - Round table discussions are designed as informal, small group discussions around a particular topic, moderated by a colleague with experience and expertise in the topic.
Poster Session (3:00pm - 4:00 pm), PCC Quad - Presenters are asked to hang their posters by 1:00pm (poster boards will be available starting at 11:30am), and the posters will be open throughout the afternoon.
Town Hall and Ice Cream Social (4:30pm - 5:45pm), Building CC Creveling - Join us for the final session of the 2023 Rendezvous! (Note: The only entrance for the Creveling Lounge will be the second floor from the bridge area on the south side of the building.)

Registration Check-In

Registration will be available under the tent in the PCC Quad from 8:00am - 4:00pm.
You must check in at the registration table before attending any events, so please allow enough time before your workshop or event begins.
Checking out? Lanyards and badge holders are reusable! Help reduce waste and return your lanyards and badge holders to the registration table.

Building Access

Some buildings, rooms, and offices on the Pasadena City College Campus may be locked or closed on Friday during the Rendezvous program. If you encounter a locked building or room and need access for a session, please contact Rendezvous staff or our local hosts, Elizabeth Nagy and Martha House, to get access. Help a fellow educator by holding open doors that will automatically lock when closed. If you are unable to get into a building and you can't find a staff member or host to assist you, call 507-222-5340. You will be connected with a Rendezvous staff member who will be able to assist you.

Don't miss your last opportunity to connect with our exhibitors and sponsors! Amiable Consulting, Raspberry Shake, EarthScope Consortium, and Pacific Section - Society for Sedimentary Geology can be found in the registration area under the tent in the PCC Quad.

Presenting at the Rendezvous?

Review the Presenter Guidelines web page regarding format and how to upload a digital copy of your presentations and materials. If you are presenting a poster, please bring it with you. Oral presentations should be uploaded no later than 8:00am the morning of your presentation. If you are leading a teaching demo, please bring any materials you may need.

CEU Credit Opportunity

Interested in receiving Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credit(s) for participation at the Rendezvous? Complete attendance sign-in sheets and end of workshop evaluations so NAGT staff can verify your participation. Send your request to NAGT's Executive Office at nagtservice@nagt.org.
