Dear Colleagues,
We know that many of you have questions about what is going to happen with the Earth Educators' Rendezvous and your ability to travel this summer. As you know, restrictions on gatherings and travel continue to change as the COVID-19 situation evolves. We also know that uncertainty is stressful, so we are keeping you updated on our progress.
At this time, we are gathering information about our capability of hosting a virtual EER, including which workshops and sessions could transition well to an online format. We are evaluating our ability to offer the high-quality professional development you have come to expect from NAGT in a different format at a reasonable cost. We continue to pay attention to changes in restrictions at Stanford, our own institutions, and at the federal and state level.
A final decision regarding the face-to-face and/or virtual meeting will be announced on April 17.
