The SERC front page has been redesigned.

 We dug deep into the data around historical use of our front page to understand how it could better support our visitors.  This led to new front page structures that we hope will better guide users toward productive paths.  We iteratively tested new designs with users and the result is our new front page.  We'll continue to monitor its effectiveness and invite feedback from the community.
