Center Events and Clinics Compensation
Participating in a Learning and Teaching Center State Your Case! event or a State Your Case! clinic: Travel expenses between Northfield and St. Paul
The State Your Case! project includes numerous opportunities for faculty development on all three campuses throughout the year. During the academic year, the learning and teaching centers of each institution are scheduling a variety of conversations, talks, presentations, and mini-workshops focused on key project themes, such as critical thinking, effective writing, evaluating evidence, and assessing student learning. In addition, each participating campus will host summer clinics for faculty to share ideas and seek feedback on drafts of project-related course materials, such as instructional handouts, assignments, and assessment instruments. Consortium faculty are encouraged to participate in any event hosted by any of the three institutions as schedules permit. Transportation between Northfield and St. Paul will be reimbursed for faculty participating in a discussion or clinic hosted by an institution other than their own. Faculty participants should contact the project steering committee members at their institutions to arrange for travel expense reimbursement.
