The Climate System Collections
Weather and Climate
This collection focuses on air masses and fronts, clouds and precipitation, storms, and seasons.
Atmosphere
This collection focuses on the composition and structure of the atmosphere and on greenhouse gases.
Ocean-Atmosphere Circulation
This collection includes visualizations about sea surface temperature (SST), currents, El Nino-Southern Oscillation (ENSO), and Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO).
Energy Balance
This collection features visualizations about long and short wave radiation and albedo.
Climate Change Collections: Past, Present, and Future
This collection features visualizations of Earth's climate through geologic time.
Paleoclimate
This collection includes visualizations about how the greenhouse effect works, emissions data, and recent climate curves (i.e. the hockey stick).
Process of Anthropogenic Climate Change
This collection includes projections of future changes and evidence of current changes in climate.
