To use this style of assessment, the students need to be given brief instruction about how to construct a concept sketch, and the style of the teaching needs to be consistent with the assessment.
What particular aspects would you like feedback on?
Concept sketches are a way to assess if students have a coherent understanding of a geologic system, and are very efficient to grade compared to an essay question or any other type of in-depth assessment.
