Set of seven labs in a tutorial format to introduce MATLAB to the first-year student/programmer. Uses MATLAB for Engineering Applications, 5th edition, by William J. Palm III as a reference. Students complete the labs using the MATLAB Live Editor and then export the result to pdf file format for submission.

Description and Teaching Materials
The seven labs are completed by the student outside of class over the course of the instructional term. Reading assignments and videos are used as learning activities prior to the labs and a problem set is completed after completing each lab to assess the learning objectives. In-class sessions focus on applying the concepts through engineering problem-solving.
