A new collaboration between Emriver, maker of high-quality hydrologic models and SERC, your go-to source for pedagogical resources, has launched a dynamic new hub to collect, share, and expand teaching materials related to Emriver flumes and stream tables. Check out the Emriver Educational Resources website!

Designed to support learners and educators from K–12 classrooms through graduate-level laboratories, STEM outreach programs, and conservation initiatives, the site brings together a growing collection of teaching activities developed by geoscience faculty and educators using Emriver models. Community members are encouraged to submit their own activities, helping the collection grow as a community-driven resource.

Beyond lesson plans, this website also offers resources to support the effective use of Emriver stream tables and flumes in educational settings, a discussion forum where community members can exchange questions, ideas, and best practices, as well as updates on upcoming community events.

To kick things off, the new project will host a free informational webinar on June 16 at 12:00 CT featuring professionals from Emriver as well as geoscience faculty who use their models in the classroom. Discover more about stream tables and flumes and explore ways to use them to bring Earth processes to life in the classroom. Register today - registration is required to attend.
