Imagination, research, and group collaboration enabled your team to make a very important decision concerning the future of a preserved habitat. Mono Lake isn't the only habitat that has been- or will be- affected by the needs of humans. Why not take your adventure one step further by getting involved with local environmental efforts. Join your school's environmental club - or start one if it doesn't yet exist. Recycle. Ride your bike instead of driving the car. Buy cars with engines smaller than 2 liters. Refuse to buy things wrapped in plastic. Volunteer for a road clean up. Earth-friendly actions are everywhere!
