Summary

This activity is a Google Slide playlist that will introduce students to microbes that can be found in deep sea sediments, and what roles they play in their environment. This playlist is suitable for use in remote, hybrid, or in-person instruction and can easily be added to a Learning Management System.

Students should be familiar with using Google Slides. This is an introductory assignment for deep sea microbes. No prior knowledge is necessary.

Students will complete activities as they progress through the playlist that provide formative assessments of the material being introduced. Students can submit the slides in a Learning Management System so teachers can check their work.
