Prompt: What would you need to do to fit these materials into one of your courses?
- What is the cost of buying or renting equipment?
- Buying is expensive, but renting can be very affordable, on the order of a few hundred dollars
- Contact IRIS to rent equipment
- Hands-on demo of what electrical resistivity is as an intro to the resistivity module, using a multi-meter to measure resistivity and how it varies with salinity, porosity
- Students may need an introduction to Excel, or if computer access is limited, the graphing exercises can be done on paper
- Googlesheet versions of the Excel spreadsheet exercises are available as well
- Visuals of instructions would be helpful ("open the file, click here, ...")
- More case studies would be lovely
