Short course stipend application – GETSI @ GSA Cordilleran 2020

Increase the Use of Data, Math, and Societal Relevance in your Undergraduate Earth Science Courses


Short Course Date & Time: May 11, 2020, 8 am - 3 pm
Location: Mount San Antonio College campus, in conjunction with Geological Society of America Cordilleran Meeting, Pasadena, CA

Deadline to apply for a travel stipend - April 6, 2020


This short course stipend is intended for instructors of introductory Earth science courses. Community college instructors, including adjunct faculty, are particularly encouraged to participate. Late stage graduate students are also be eligible if they have significant teaching responsibilities.

Stipends are: $170 for local attendees; $320 for those staying away from home at night.

By submitting my application, I agree that if I am granted a stipend I will attend the entire short course. I understand that I am only eligible for the stipend ($170 local attendees; $320 traveling attendees) if I attend the entire time. The course will be held on Monday May 11, 2020 8 am-3 pm.
