Meeting Timing

The main meeting program will begin on Sunday, November 3, 2019, at 5:00pm at Carleton College. The workshop will conclude at 2:30pm on Tuesday, November 5. If you cannot arrive on Sunday in time for the 5:00pm opening session and dinner, please plan to travel on Saturday instead, so that you can be present for the entire workshop. Members of the cyberinfrastructure sub-group will meet at 3:00pm, prior to the start of the official meeting program. All meeting activities take place in Sayles-Hill Room 251 unless otherwise noted in the program. Follow these directions to the Sayles-Hill Campus Center.

Travel

Participants are responsible for booking their travel to and from the meeting. Ground transportation to and from the airport will be arranged for you if you provide us with your travel information in advance. Maps and directions to Carleton College are available on the Carleton College website.

Travel by Air

Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport is the closest airport to Northfield. We recommend arriving no later than 2:30pm on November 3rd, and departing after 6:30pm, November 5th. Travel to and from the airport takes approximately one hour. Due to construction at Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport Terminal 1, meeting participants should be prepared for longer than normal security checkpoint wait times.

Airport shuttles

Ground transportation to and from the airport will be arranged for you based on your arrival and departure times if you provide us with that information in advance, via the travel information form. We will provide you with estimated shuttle pick-up times.

Travel by Rail

There are Amtrak routes that serve the Minneapolis-St Paul region.
