Getting Started: Welcome to EvaluateUR-Internship!
What is E-Internship?
EvaluateUR-Internship (E-Internship) is designed to enhance the student internship experience. E-Internship guides students through a series of online self-assessments, followed by reflective conversations, potentially with their internship supervisor or a program mentor. E-Internship provides students with feedback on their progress, encourages reflection on strengths and areas for development, and focuses on outcomes important for professional growth and highly valued in the workplace. The time commitment for students is modest, and the benefits significantly outweigh the time invested.
It is very important to emphasize to students that the self-assessment scores they assign themselves, and the reflections discussed, are for their personal growth and are completely separate from any formal internship evaluation.
How Will E-Internship Benefit Your Students?
By participating in E-Internship, students will:
- Learn and practice the discipline of realistic self-assessment
- Be introduced to a comprehensive list of competencies and skills considered essential to additional education and in the workplace
- Gain experience communicating within their discipline
- Gain confidence and greater self-awareness as they track their academic growth
How Do I Use E-Internship?
Students will receive automated emails which will prompt them with instructions. Review Onboarding Steps
Once the internship coordinator and students have set up their password-protected account, student progress will be seen on the dashboard. Access my Dashboard
