Explore the Workshop Program and Submit Your Abstract for the Rendezvous

Join us for the eleventh Earth Educators' Rendezvous (EER), held July 20-23, 2026, at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. We invite you to start planning your experience now by exploring the workshop program and submitting an abstract.

Program

This year's Rendezvous features a refreshed format that includes numerous engagement, collaboration, and learning opportunities spread across four days, including:

  • Interactive 2- and 4-day morning workshops featuring strategies for supporting all students, education research, curriculum design, and more.
  • Half-day afternoon mini-workshops, featuring a variety of topics, teaching methods, professional development, career resources, and more.
  • An afternoon contributed program to share your work and learn from the community, including oral and poster sessions and a Share-a-thon.

In addition, we will be offering Pre- and Post- Rendezvous Field Trips featuring local geology.

Contribute!

Browse the program, identify sessions that align with your interests, and consider submitting an abstract to contribute to the conversation. Submit an oral/poster session abstract or a Share-a-thon proposal for consideration by Wednesday March 4, 2026.
