Asmeret Asefaw Berhe confirmed by Senate as federal office science director

Congratulations to our co-PI Dr. Asmeret Asefaw Berhe who today was confirmed by Senate to lead the Science Office of the Department of Energy. Dr. Berhe was nominated in recognition of her cutting-edge carbon cycle science and her leadership in advancing equity in STEM.
