Project Manager

AAAS has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join AAAS's Inclusive STEMM Ecosystems for Equity & Diversity (ISEED) unit. This person will perform professional-level management to grow and provide ongoing support to a virtual learning community within the new NSF-funded S-STEM Resource and Evaluation Center (REC). In collaboration with the S-STEM REC team, this position will develop and implement strategies to increase engagement of stakeholders in virtual knowledge-exchange activities (i.e., virtual forums, webinars, and blogs), as well as increase the utility and promotion of project resources. They will facilitate virtual community building by creating and curating content to spur conversations about effective practices for creating inclusive and equitable educational environments, leveraging institutional resources to support low-income students, and other key topics. They will encourage connections among people and groups, coordinate the S-STEM REC blog posts and community discussions, promote webinars/online meetings and convenings, and host community conversations. In addition, the Project Manager will identify and promote resources and professional development opportunities for S-STEM Researchers and Scholars. Working closely with the S-STEM REC Center Coordinator, this position will create an annual content calendar that aligns with the overall project activities, including an annual convening of S-STEM Scholars.
