Key Questions and Resources
Please state a question about the Early earth that is central to your teaching and about which you would like to see development of additional resources supporting your teaching and students learning. For example: What do we know about the origin of life on Earth? or How are we using atmospheric models to understand the evolution of the atmosphere? For more guidance, see
instructions and example questions.
(opens in a new window)
Please answer your question with one or two paragraphs including a description of alternative hypotheses under consideration. This answer should reflect your current state of knowledge and need not be complete. Do not revise your question to make it possible for you to answer it. The questions and answers will guide the speakers in developing their presentations and provide the foundation for work at the workshop on web-resources illuminating key questions about the Early Earth.
If you have identified references, data sets, or websites that assist you in teaching about this question, please provide the 3-5 you find most valuable.
We will be working on creating and reviewing activities for teaching about key questions at the workshop. If you have an activity or an idea for an activity that you would like to have incorporated in these discussions, please fill out the
