Teaching Sedimentary Geology - This site contains a variety of resources for faculty members who teach undergraduate sedimentary geology. You will find links to a large collection of activities and assignments, internet and computer resources, and visualizations for teaching sedimentary geology.

Teaching Activities

MnSTEP Teaching Activities for K-12 - This collection of activities, provided by the Minnesota Science Teachers Education Project, lists approximately 30 activities related to the rock cycle for students in grades K-12. Visitors may also browse the entire collection of MnSTEP activities, of which there are over 500.

Introductory Level Teaching Activities and Courses Focusing on the Rock Cycle - This browsable collection of approximately 30 activities and courses can be further narrowed down by subject or by whether it is a course or activity. A short summary of each resource is also included.

SERC Site-wide Search of Weathering Activities - This browsable collection of over 80 activities related to weathering and erosion can be further narrowed by subject or project.
