The workshop will begin at 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 11 with a reception and dinner. Please make your plans so that you will be able to attend this opening session. We will conclude after dinner on Tuesday, February 13. It is essential that you attend the full workshop including the full day on Tuesday.

Travel by Air

Air travelers should fly into the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport, and we recommend arriving no later than 3:30 PM on Sunday, February 11, and planning to depart sometime on Wednesday, February 14, as travel to and from the airport takes 45 minutes. Ground transportation to and from the airport will be arranged for you based on your travel information that you submit to us via the registration form (registration deadline is January 19, 2007).

What to expect

Northfield is a small town about 35 miles south of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. February is winter here so you can expect cold with temperatures between -10 and +40 degrees and the possibility of snow. Shuttle service between the hotel and campus at the start and end of the day will be available. It's about a five-block walk to the meeting space from the hotel and downtown is about 2-3 blocks from the hotel. Please let us know if you have any concerns about accommodations or mobility.

The Country Inn will serve continental breakfast each morning. There is a heated indoor pool.

E-mail access is available in the workshop space on the Carleton campus.
