The Using Data in the Classroom project was active between 2003 and 2010. Much of the content dates from that time period and so may not be up to date. We are preserving the content here because it still contains useful ideas.

2001

In early February, 2001, DLESE's Data Access Working Group met to discuss the various ways of providing data access and tools to support student exploration of data. The goals of the meeting were to determine the issues surrounding incorporation of datasets as a learning tool, to develop a vision for how the DLESE and Earth system science communities can work together to reach this goal, and to develop a six-month action plan.
