2025 Preparing for an Academic Career in the Geosciences Workshop part of Career Prep:Career Prep 2025
Join us for this engaging online workshop for graduate students, postdocs, and others pursuing academic careers in geosciences. Led by experienced faculty from diverse institutions, the workshop helps participants strengthen job applications, refine interview skills, and develop strategies for success in academia. Sessions include presentations, discussions, small-group activities, and Q&A with workshop alumni and leaders. Participants will explore different academic career paths, enhance their teaching and research statements, practice communication skills, and create a plan for their next career stage.
