2012 Visiting Workshops

The Building Strong Geoscience Departments project is continuing the popular Visiting Workshop Program in 2012-2013. In collaboration with NAGT, we offer a menu of interactive sessions distilling the lessons learned from our previous workshops and fully supported with online resources. Selected departments will be able to choose topics of high interest from our areas of expertise. Two of our workshop leaders will work with each department to develop a program of presentations, discussions, and action planning for that department. The program will feature concrete examples drawn from the leaders' experience and from the collective experiences of the geoscience community. All workshops will also incorporate information on building departmental consensus and assessing departmental efforts.
