Role of Water Stress in the Design of Water Supply System BradleyUniversity Enroll Now About This Course The objective of this course is to introduce students to the basic components of water stress issue as it applies to the design of water supply system. This introductory course to water stress and water supply will help students to begin developing the engineering thinking process in addressing the contemporary issues for a sustainable water supply system. Students will be required to show all their work in a neat and orderly manner that clearly displays the process of their thoughts. Tasks: (1)Interpret water stress specific to a location, (2) Retrieve values required for the design of a water supply system for a specific location, (3) identify design capacity for the components of the water supply system, (4) assess the sustainability of the proposed water supply system. Topics Covered Water supply and demand, water stress, water supply system Learning Objectives At the end of this module, students can demonstrate the role of water stress in water distribution system design.
