Callan Bentley is an associate professor of geology at Piedmont Virginia Community College in Charlottesville, Virginia. He is the author of the geology blog Mountain Beltway and co-author of the free, online text"book" Historical Geology. Callan is a past-president of the Geo2YC division of NAGT, as well as the Geological Society of Washington.
