Currently there are three examples of Socratic questioning related to microbial life:

- The Biosphere: Sample Socratic Questions- Explore the uniqueness of life. Use this activity to host a guided discussion examining the origin of life on Earth and its evolution through geologic time and to recognize the interactions among the biosphere and other components of the Earth system, including the geosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere and climate.
