Instructions
In 100-150 words, you are expected to express a succinct, informed response to the question, based on the module content and assigned readings. In most cases there will be no specific correct answer, but your stated position must be supported.
Assignment
Consider the following statement:
"All peoples...have the right to have access to drinking water in quantities and of a quality equal to their basic needs." (Proclamation of the 1977 UN Water Conference)
Write a brief position statement outlining whether you agree with this statement. Is water a commodity to be bought and sold, or is it a basic human right?
