Institutional Snapshots

LT3 started the Institutional Snapshot project during our first year to learn more about the diverse sources of evidence our institutions gather and use to evaluate inclusive and effective teaching. To provide structure to our data collection process, we asked institutions to fill out a template called an 'institutional snapshot', which is a short summary of what evidence their institution collects from faculty related to teaching effectiveness, how the evidence is collected, and how the evidence is used to evaluate inclusive and effective teaching.

Process and Methods

LT3 developed a standard template for gathering information from each participating institution. These institutional snapshots provided a detailed view of evaluation practices on each campus.

Current Sources of Evidence

Drawing from the institutional snapshots developed by the institutional teams, the Learning Team collated and summarized the ways in which teaching effectiveness is currently evaluated across LCC4.
