E-Compete: Application to Participate in Pilot Implementation

Thank you for your interest in participating in the pilot implementation of Evaluate-Compete (E-Compete). We are now accepting applications for the 2022-2023 ROV competition year. Please note that this opportunity is only available to U.S. institutions. Information about the project can be found on the About E-Compete page.

The value of using E-Compete will far exceed the time that you and your students invest in it. The E-Compete process highlights for students the skills and knowledge they are developing and improving. In particular, the process emphasizes students' abilities to accurately self-reflect and consider how they solve problems and identify effective learning strategies.

If you are accepted to participate, you will have an opportunity to attend 2-3 virtual sessions to learn about using E-Compete, setting up your team's dashboard, and providing feedback about your experiences.

You will also be asked to:

  • Complete an online form providing more detailed information about your ROV team.
  • Complete an online form at the end of the project providing feedback about your experience.
  • Meet with the project evaluator during the 2023 ROV competition to share your experiences.
