Background Information
I received my PhD in Economics from Syracuse University in 2010. My research area is energy policy, with a primary focus on how decision making in the electric power sector. I currently teach economics and finance courses at the Colorado School of Mines, a STEM-centric university. I use many active learning strategies in my classes, and teach Intermediate Microeconomics in a fully-flipped format.
