Guiding questions:

  • How do you feel about the project and why? Outcome of project how did you feel? Journal entries are sometimes hard to grade
  • Grading on content varies, no grading scale

  • Tailor to your students as much guidance as they will accept

For younger students, use scaffolding writing (chunking) short observations and thoughts

Video log for students who are not good writers

Have a writing tutor help students with writing and review drafts prior to going to instructor, writing is a job skill
