Participant Checklist

To help you get the most out of the workshop on Transforming Geoscience Preparation for K-8 Pre-Service Teachers, we ask that you do several things in advance. Here's a list of those preparatory activities and their deadlines:

By Wednesday, March 23

• Complete the workshop registration form. This is different from the application form.
• Read about travel and logistics, make your travel plans, and tell us about them via the travel information form.

By Monday, April 4

• Optional, but encouraged: Share a teaching activity you use, either for pre-service teachers or for K-12 students. We will convert your activity descriptions into web pages, which will be available to the other workshop participants, but also to teachers and faculty around the world.

Before the workshop

• Optional, but encouraged: Bring something for the Share Fair. This could be copies of a teaching activity you use, a poster related to the workshop theme, or anything else you think workshop participants will be interested in.
