Ganges River Delta (more info) This Landsat-7 false-color composite image shows sediment from the Ganges River as it flows through the Sunderbans, which refers the delta area, and into the Bay of Bengal.

Mississippi Plumes ( This site may be offline. ) This MODIS satellite image shows sediment plumes from the main branch of the Mississippi River as they move through the bayou region and into the Gulf of Mexico.
