SERC Announces New Assistant Director

The Science Education Resource Center (SERC) is pleased to announce that Dr. Cailin Huyck Orr has accepted the position of Assistant Director. Cailin comes to us from Washington State University where she worked with interdisciplinary teams including collaborators in geosciences, engineering, economics, and communications. Cailin received her PhD. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Limnology and Marine Science and has taught environmental science and geology courses in the WSU School of the Environment and was PI on the USDA funded Water, Climate Sustainability project titled "Watershed Integrated System Dynamics Modeling (WISDM): Feedbacks among biogeochemical simulations, stakeholder perceptions, and behavior." Cailin is a '96 Carleton alum and is excited to be returning to Northfield with her husband and their two children. SERC is delighted to welcome Cailin to our team beginning June 16!
