Launching the Midwest Climate Education Community of Practice

The Midwest Climate Collaborative is launching an Education Community of Practice through a series of community meetings beginning in February 2022. This initiative aims at building inclusive, interdisciplinary climate education that resonates with students and local communities as well as focused skill development within disciplines to prepare the next generation of climate leaders. You can join the community and the conversation through the upcoming meetings to support idea sharing and networking to collaborate on Midwest specific climate education. We welcome educators in Higher Education as well as educators from organizations that engage public audiences in climate.

Our first meeting on Monday February 28th will explore the strengths that participants bring to climate education as well as motivations and aspirations for joining a network of educators.  The second and third community meetings will help educators develop action oriented education
