This is a useful publication for anyone using 'A Civil Action' or the Woburn, Massachusetts superfund site as a case study or for an assignment. The article contains geological descriptions, cross sections, and large plates of contoured water-level data. The plates are excellent examples for class. The report also tabulates the measured streamflow gain and loss data collected by the USGS. These data are useful for demonstrating the role of wells in inducing infiltration from a river and wetland.
